HI will strengthen planning processes at sub-national level, incorporating multi-hazard resilience and ‘leave no one behind’ perspectives, while demonstrating value for money in delivery of health facilities. We will engage with provincial and municipal health leaders to agree a road map to build forward-planning competencies along with a capacity enhancement programme for health managers and technical officials in relevant departments. In addition to building policy, planning and other capacities, NHSSP’s HI team will support the delivery of priority projects on design and tender stages for upgrading of select facilities.
